Mikel Arteta is getting ready to reintroduce several key Arsenal players back into the team soon.

The international break has been timely for Arsenal, providing players with the chance to recover and reducing the risk of further injuries. While Arteta has been cautious about Martin Ødegaard’s return, recent footage showed the Norwegian midfielder running as he heals from an ankle injury he sustained in September.

Arsenal has managed well without Ødegaard, but they have certainly missed his leadership and talent. Although they remain unbeaten, their close victories against teams like Leicester and Southampton could have been more convincing with Ødegaard orchestrating the play.

Additionally, Jurrien Timber and Ben White have both been sidelined due to injuries. These two right-backs are among the league’s best in their position. Timber has shown impressive technical abilities, while White consistently delivers strong performances, often linking up with Bukayo Saka to implement Arteta’s strategies.

Oleksandr Zinchenko has also been out since the last break, but Arteta is hopeful for his return when domestic matches resume. Despite competition for the left-back role, particularly with Takehiro Tomiyasu’s return, Zinchenko’s unique style remains a valuable asset to the squad.

With crucial matches against Liverpool, Inter Milan, Newcastle United, and Chelsea on the horizon, having a fully fit squad is essential for Arsenal’s title ambitions. Any absences could disrupt their momentum, but their unbeaten start reflects their resilience. However, a single setback could significantly change the team’s outlook, making the smooth reintegration of returning players critical in the coming weeks.
