Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an update on Bukayo Saka after the winger picked up a knock during the Gunners’ 4-0 win over Ipswich Town.
Speaking to Sky Sports Premier League, Arteta said:
“I didn’t see the tackle, it was quite fast. It’s a good decision from the referee. He is in a bit of pain but thankfully it doesn’t look anything too serious.”
Saka’s knock sparked brief concern among fans, but Arteta’s comments suggest the injury is not expected to keep the England international sidelined for long.
The match ended in a dominant 4-0 victory for Arsenal, with Ethan Nwaneri scoring the fourth goal in the 88th minute, assisted by Oleksandr Zinchenko.
