Bukayo Saka has reaffirmed his commitment to Arsenal, making it clear that he has no intention of joining Barcelona, even in the event of major trophy success with the club.
Speaking in a recent interview on Sky Sports, Arsenal legend Paul Merson asked Saka whether winning everything at Arsenal could influence a future move abroad, including a potential switch to Barcelona.
Merson said:
“What happens if you win all of them at once, and you’ve signed a five-year contract? Will you be going to Barcelona then or…?”
Saka responded immediately and without hesitation, firmly shutting down any speculation:
“No, we’ll try and do it again.”
The 23-year-old winger’s comments underline his long-term commitment to Arsenal, especially after recently signing a new contract that ties him to the club for the foreseeable future. His response will be welcomed by supporters, who see him as one of the key figures in Arsenal’s project under Mikel Arteta.
Saka’s message was clear: his ambition is not to seek a move elsewhere, but to continue achieving success with Arsenal and build a winning cycle at the Emirates Stadium.
