Arsenal F.C. are preparing for a massive summer transfer window after securing the Premier League title and reaching the UEFA Champions League final under manager Mikel Arteta.

According to recent reports, Arsenal are closely monitoring the future of the Atlético Madrid striker ahead of the summer transfer market.

Alvarez enjoyed an impressive campaign in Spain, scoring 20 goals in all competitions after joining Atletico from Manchester City F.C.. His performances have attracted interest from several European giants, including Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, and Barcelona.

Speaking to Movistar, Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone addressed speculation surrounding the Argentine forward’s future.

“It’s not a question for me, it’s a question for Julian. He’s old enough to know what he’s going to do, and I imagine he’s already made his decision,” Simeone said.

Earlier this year, Simeone also admitted that interest from top European clubs is expected given Alvarez’s quality.

“It’s normal that an extraordinary player like Julian Alvarez is wanted by Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona because he’s a very good player,” he explained.
